Sheistah Bundhoo-Deenoo is a Lecturer in Management at Charles Telfair Education teaching modules encompassing Business and Sustainable Development, Culture and Ethics, and Management. Currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility, her focus is on promoting responsible business practices. She is also an advocate committed to social justice, gender equality, and sustainable development. As such, Sheistah has a history of working with non-profit organisations, particularly within the areas of gender-based violence and intersectional inequality. She possesses a track record in fundraising and proposal writing for social justice related projects, having successfully secured support for initiatives addressing pressing societal concerns. Her work and research have explored important societal issues, including domestic violence, gender equality, and the economic impact of violence in Mauritius. She has shared her findings through various publications, research projects, and conference participation. Being an advocate for social justice, she has equally contributed towards various publications towards international committees including the UNCRC and the UPR.
