Prakash (Sanju) Deenapanray holds a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from ANU, an MSc In Physics from the University of Pretoria, and an MBA from LaTrobe University. Sanju has published over 200 research articles and patents in the field of thin-film silicon solar cell technologies. Currently, he is the owner and Director of ELIA – Ecological Living In Action Ltd, which provides consultancy and training in climate change governance in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. He also serves as Adjunct Professor and Chair of the Sustainability and Climate Change Programme at Université des Mascareignes. Sanju has worked with the Mauritius Research Council, UNDP, and UNEP, where he contributed to climate change initiatives for small island developing states and green growth indices. He is also a member of the Mauritius Sustainability Index Supervisory Committee.
