Ms Awotar is a Ph.D candidate at the Centre d'Etudes Diplomatiques et Stratégiques, Paris, France and her research focuses on maritime security in the Western Indian Ocean. She holds professional experiences in regional organisations and is apt to support policy dialogues between national needs and international systems to achieve shared regional goals.
