    Rachel Moussié

    Rachel Moussié is the Deputy Director of the Social Protection Programme at WIEGO – a global research and policy network supporting organizations of informal workers. Her work focuses on the extension of social protection systems and childcare services by collaborating with women informal workers on research and policy engagements alongside national governments, international organisations, bilateral donors and foundations. Rachel holds a MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a BA from McGill University. Born in Mauritius, she grew up and worked across Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe, and has now returned to Mauritius.
